West Kerry Sheepdog Demonstrations

Sheepdog demonstrations held on the beautiful Dingle peninsula in Ireland. Our farm is situated in Derrymore on the main Tralee – Dingle road on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is located in a beautiful setting nestled between the Slieve Mish mountains and the picturesque Tralee Bay. We run sheepdog demonstrations daily from March to October. Here you will have the opportunity to watch our pure bred border collies Sam and Jess herding sheep on the farm.

In addition you will have an opportunity to explore our

old style cottage that we have beautifully renovated on the
farm with a turf fire burning to warm you up after watching our sheepdog demonstrations.

Set on a Traditional Irish Farm, with a backdrop of Derrymore Strand, and sheltered by the beautiful Slieve Mish Mountains, our farm is open from March to October, and getting to us couldn’t be easier. We are located on the main Tralee to Dingle road on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our Animals

On your visit, you will get to see our purebred border collies Jess and Sam herding sheep who respond to both voice and whistle commands. In addition, we have two miniature donkeys Alfie and Sooty.
